 i found that this event happens  often when students are using the toilet as their changing room for their P.E classes. Therefore other students who need toilet could not use the toilet, and have to go to the toilet during class times.

Many pelple always ask  “what time is it now?” and if that person don’t have any watch so they can’s answer the question.  So we have to had a watch . After look to the ad in magazine “BLANCPIN” watch I feel notting, the way they show the watch, using words, and the design og the watch. It can’t make me interest in that wath, maybe it can make other who interested in blandname watch.

The watch ad’s they show how beautiful the watch is and what it can do. In the ad’s they put the gold watch in back blackground to male the gold watch look conspicuous when pekpke look at it and hey had use some nice word in the ad,  to make them want to won this watch.

The new design of watch normal but look nice and it can tell date, month and time also. They use the word to when  the comsumer read it and they want to buy i. the innovation of the perpetual calendar has always been a challenge to watch maker. The “villeret perpetual calendar ” has managed to master this with Blancpain’s patented correctors under the lugs. A techbical perfetion in craftsmanship and aestheics from the manufactory in Le Brassus.

But in ths ad they didn’t show the picture when people wearing the watch or tell the size of the watch, so we can’t know how is it when this watch on our hand. They have some mpore picture of someone wear this watch, persenter also importan to sell the watch.

the watch ad can make people who interested in watch because the watch are new design of the year and there are bland name, all information and he picture can see the watch properly. the ads can be improve by putting the picture that people come up with the watch so we can see how beautiful there are.

Where to get Extra Respect?

“Why is the hotel attendant acting like that?” would be the first question that came through readers’ head when they first saw the advertisement of Mercedes card. Two big photographs side by side, showing some differences between them. One photograph had a hotel attendant who was bowing only the head to a man, while another photograph shows the same hotel attendant bowing to a man more than 90 degrees, where his head almost touch his feet. And there is a phase “with Mercedes Card, you receive extra respect” with the picture of Mercedes card under the second photograph. The advertisement was designed to make the service known to public and it’s targeted to business people who travel a lot.  This advertisement suggested that consumers could receive extra respect, however the negative aspect of this advertisement are omission and diversion.

This advertisement has used the composition technique to persuade readers to use their service. As readers look at the advertisement, their eyes will focus on two large pictures which the advertisers cleverly placed on both side of magazine. The red color of the hotel attendant will catch their attention from all dark toned background. Also the logo of the company is placed on the bottom right corner, where readers could look while they flip the page. The advertisement also uses effective languages like extra respect, which will attract readers who want proper respect and service.

To persuade the readers effectively, the advertisement has used association, which links the service or product that is advertised with familiar things with readers. The two big pictures with luxury hotel background and hotel attendant bowing more than 90 degrees evokes the readers’ emotional response to want extra respect from where they go, and to have desirable lifestyle with the service, which cleverly shows that advertisement uses snob appeal. The advertisement also uses transfer, with the positive words like “receive extra respect” allow the consumers or readers to have positive feeling that they can get extra respect from others everywhere.

Although the advertisement will give readers positive feelings, it’s bad that the advertisement omits about any information about the service. The advertisement doesn’t indicate the maximum amount of money that consumer can use every time they use the card. Also it doesn’t say anything about the locations that consumer can use the service and what can they do with the service. Which will allow consumer to use the service without knowing where or what could they do with service.

Also the advertisement used diversion, in which the advertisement shift the readers’ attention to the point that consumers will receive extra respect from the negative affects that the consumer or readers have to have enough money to create the card.

This advertisement suggests the readers with effective language like extra respect to promote readers to use the card. However, the negative aspects of this advertisement, which are omission and diversion, may give readers the wrong choices.

For the reason that the advertisement didn’t indicate information about the service, and the color of the advertisement is dark toned, the advertisement wasn't persuasive to readers. This advertisement could be improved by emphasizing more on credit card, giving positive facts compared to other services, and providing more information and benefit that consumers will get when they use this card.

What time is it now?

                When I first looked at the advertisement Cortina watch, I felt that it’s very beautiful and I have never seen anything suchlike before. The background color of the ad is black which makes the color of the product look more attractive. The color of this photograph is nice but only the font of the ad is not too attractive. At the top of this image are the words JEANS-MAIRET AND GILLMAN, which present their brand name. This image of Cortina watch in this ad is not for general people, it is only for those who have to go to another continent. The Cortina watch is specialized for business woman and it is more convenient because you can look at the time whenever and wherever you want to. This advertisement proves to be very effective in persuading customers that wearing a watch, help you on time and helps you to have more responsibility.

            This ad’s Composition, as I turn the page, my eyes immediately focus on the image of the watch because the colorful watch is placed in the center of a black flamed page. The bright colors pop out at anyone who might flip through the magazine, compelling me to stop and look at the ad then I saw the white company Logo; it was placed at the top of the page which shows the capital letter clearly. To persuade the reader to buy the product, the ad uses association, a technique that leads the reader to associate what I was in the as to myself. The theme of of this ad is luxury and glamorous. The Cortina watch is specialized for business women because it can be used for many continents and it has automatic movement with four time zones, which make your life more comfortable and looks glamorous too.

            Although the ad gives a luxury image, there are not many details about the product, even the location where we can use the product it doesn’t state in the magazine, which does not allow people to know what the product can do. People who don’t know much about the Cortina watch might believe that the price night be very high so they might find another watch with more detail.

            This advertisement is effective; it catches the reader’s attention and because the watch is luxurious and uses the clever technique of snob appeal, it may persuade people to buy the Cortina watch. However, the ad didn’t mention and give less information about this watch, so it’s hard for the reader to find the feature of the product. The ad should have proven that the watch it’s really good.

As we know that profit is the main goal for companies. They can not make a profit without selling their products or services. There are many ways to help selling product such as advertising. Advertising is a form of communication intended to persuade an audience to purchase their product. SEIKO is one of the most watch companies in Japan that use advertising to promote selling. The purpose of the company is to make people to know their product. The target audiences of this advertising are people who are interesting in chronograph watch and sport man. Advertising plays an important role in helping the selling of the company.

This advertising has both positive aspects and negative aspects. The positive aspects are repetition, composition and association. Repetition is a repeating slogan or other messages to make the central ideas of the advertising memorable. You can see the word “Ananta” which is the brad of the machine that has repeated three times in the advertising. Composition is a strategy means combining images and languages persuasively. It has black color as a background with blue in the front. It uses big font on its brand but small font to describe its detail and they put the picture of the product in the advertising. Association is a propaganda device being advertised with something familiar to the intended audience. It use snob appeal technique to associate the product with luxury lifestyle and identified with wealthy people. It tells about the latest technology of the watch and it makes the product look good. They also have negative aspects such as not telling the price and guarantee (omission). The products are made of titanium that is lighter than metal but stronger than a metal. Because titanium is expensive so they avoid telling the price but to mention on the advantage of the material.

SEIKO Company has advertised its product to improve on selling. It has positive and negative aspects. To improve this advertising, company should tell more on detail and compare its product to another product. I think they should advertise more because I never seen this advertising before. Even though the company does not advertise, I think this product will sell well because SEIKO is well known company. SEIKO has made a good advertising but they can improve their advertising.

Computer Addiction (Fixed)

“Computer addicts”, that’s what my family calls me instead of my name. I always begin my day by turning on my computer checking my emails and facebooks. As internet explodes these days, providing many information and entertainment faster and quicker, it became number one source of my entertainment. This essay will talk about the problems that I get from the computer addiction. For example my school grades going down, communication with people have been reduced and health problems caused by computer addiction, and find that one of the solution to the problems is to set the time to play computer.

One of the problems is that my school grades are going down. I spent an average of 10 hours to play computer games.  As a result I’m not able to finish my homework or to study for test. Also I can’t concentrate on class studies, because I always dreaming about games. I found some solutions to this problem. According to Hub pages.com (HUB Pages) setting the boundaries to play computer is one of the solution. To get rid out from this problem I slowly decreased the time I use the computer and later set time, like 1~2 hours maximum for entertainment. I also ask help from my family to control me from playing computer. This solution is very effective because I don’t have to spend a lot of money to seek for professional advisor.

Another problem is the health problem that I get from computer addiction. I was not able to sleep well, and my eye sight became bad, and also I gain weight. To solve this problem, helpguide.org (Help Guide) stated that try to replace the playing computer time to play sports or do healthy activities. By involving many activities with friends I can solve the problem as well as increase the communication with friends.

However, there were some solutions that I’ve done but they weren’t successful. One of them was to just  to stop using the computer, but sudden change in time of playing computer made me more addict to it. While setting the time boundaries allowed me to get more friends at school, able to finish my work on time, and grew many skills by replacing activities instead of playing computer. (HUB Pages) therefore, slowly decreasing the time and setting the time to play computer is the best way to solve computer addiction.

Sleeping late (fixed)

According to Mary Carskadon (2009), students and teenagers should spend nine hours of their night sleeping. Sleeping fewer hours affect students to concentrate in school especially in the morning. I spend a lot of time doing homework, that’s why I’m always sleeping late which happens to be the problem I’m going to discuss for this essay and the solution is to manage the time (make a time table), and I should ask teachers when I don’t understand how to do it.

            Based on Megessays website (2009), teenagers who are trying to get good grades, doing homework, extra activities might lead to sleep loss. Sometimes, they might get stressed about the projects and experiment which affects their health such as memory, chronic pain, and difficulty to control their emotional. To solve the problem, the best solution is to get more sleep and get better sleep. For me, I have a problem with spending many hours doing homework. So this is a plan: I planned to finish my homework in school and finish the project at home because most of the projects are using computer. For example, after 3:10 PM I will go to the canteen and try to finish my homework as fast as I can; for housework and projects, I will do it at home. This would help me to get more sleep and get better sleep!

            One solution that is not recommended is taking extra classes. Taking extra class won’t help me to finish my homework faster, because I spend a lot of time doing homework from the extra class and I will not have time to do my school’s homework. So I tried to solve this problem by asking teacher when I don’t understand and try to finish doing homework in school. The benefits of the solution that I have done are that I can get more sleep, which will allow me to have more time to rest. Also, organizing time or setting the best time will help me to work properly. This essay reminds me how to organize your time and how to get more sleep without being worried about homework.

Some people don’t know how to use grammar and spelling correctly so in school or out side school that will be a big problem because if you write it wrong people will miss understand what you want to told the reader.             According to the research, reading can be your hobbies. Used books are in expensive, and book trading and libraries are free. When you plan to read some thingyou have to make sure that you focus on that. If you are notsure about the word or the spelling you have to look it up, open dictionary or if you don’t want to carry a pocket dictionary with you, you can use the internet access or an online spelling site. Look at the mistake some word had the same sound but different spelling and meaning, you can learn by mistakes, by writing a story or essay, cause it ues all of grammar skills, it’s can help you to improve your spelling skill, writing is one of the most enjoyable way to practice english.

            Make sure you’re on the right track to leanr and how to improve your grammar and spelling skill. You can find your own way to remember it how can you will remember it, you have to do it again untill you are good in grammar anf spelling.

            I think if english is a scond language and I have to use it in the future to contack with the forengner I have to speak in english. Now my english is very poor so how can the forelegner can understand what I tyr to say. So I have to practice by listen and try to speak in englise as much as I can, read the books that are in english pratice by writing, do some reseach that will help me make my english better than this.

How to improve English

English

                Do you think English is important to life? Today, we have to use English to communicate to people around the world. And I have to use English in my school because it is an international school. But most of the time, I don’t speak English to my friends because my English is horrible. I always speak Thai with my friends and if the teacher is walking pass me then I quickly change to English. That is why I can’t improve my English. So it’s time to improve my English because now, I’m grade 11. I’m high school student. My thesis statement is I will improve English by the method from the websites.

                There are so many ways to improve English. Most of it advice me to watch movies in English or use subtitle and listen to English songs and I try it at home But the most important solution is practice. I should watch movies or read books that you already know the story because when you meet the words that you don’t know the meaning so you can guess the meaning.  I should listen to English songs. I think this solution will make me improve fast because I love music. I will learn how to pronounce the words and this solution will be better if I have lyrics.Another popular way in Thailand is taking intensive English course. I saw lot of my friends do this solution. I don’t like this solution because it waste my times and money. From About.com, they said that I should practice talking in English in front of the mirror alone. It is better to practice English everyday than practice 3 hours for one day per week.

                I have try lot of solution, some really work and some don’t. I listen to English and that work to me. I learn new words and sentence. I have a song and lyric sheet then I open the song and read from the lyric. It looks easy to me. I learn correct way to pronounce the words. The solution that doesn’t work with me is watch English movies. I don’t like English movies, I like Thai. If I keep practice the solution every day, I’m sure that my English improve

Failing grade in physic

        Failing grade in physic

         Sometimes I have no idea why I am getting low grade in physics.I thought I was doing ok but when I get my report back,it tells a whole differrent story.Most students has a low grade once in a life,some of them feel hopeless after receiving such a low grade.I am one of them who also face this problem so I have to find the way to deal with it which can affect how well I do the next semester.

         According to wikihow.com(2010),everybody has a bad grade once in their life times.Result is that one will feel bad and upset about it.The first thing I deal with it is don’t focus too much on the fact that I did get a bad grade since I can not change the past.Instead,I go back to look at my errors and try to fix it so I don’t have to face this problem again.

         Another way of getting a better grade is get extra help,maybe from teachers or friends stated by wikihow.com,They can point out ways to work on improving in the future or if this don’t really help,I might sign up with the tutor.

         Last thing is developing better study habbit(knowledgeoman.com).It could be done in many ways.For me, I give myself plenty of time to review my notes and textbooks and if I have more time I will try to answer the question from this lesson.

         To conclude,one may get over this problem by cheating like copying the work from friends but this could not help for long term.Dealing with failing grade is not hard if I really want to improve it.I will not think too much about it because I can not change anything.Getting extra help and developing study habbit may considered as a way that really work.The best solution is I have to know my weakness and try to improve it in different ways.
